About the Panelists:

Sheena Beaverson has been the web site administrator for the Illinois Natural Resources Geospatial Data Clearinghouse since 1997. This award-winning web site serves as a gateway to GIS data and imagery for Illinois. Sheena has also served as a web editor, content manager, and event photographer for the professional balloon community since 1994.

Andrea Van Proyen has over 20 years experience developing print and online documentation in subject areas ranging from supercomputing to survey research. As a content development specialist, her present responsibilities include CITES web pages, especially those about email, and both print and online information about CITES services. Her experience has taught her how important it is to make content and its visual presentation work together; to that end, she is taking a graphic design course to increase her design skills and vocabulary..

Renice Wernette has been editing and designing informational and marketing materials for online and print media for longer than she cares to admit – at CITES DS for the past 2 years, and previously at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, U of I's AITS, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, and Wolfram Research
